Meet the Honey Creek Books Authors
Jennifer Anderson
I'm a Mommy, wife and now author. Even though I've spent many years on either coast, I've spent a majority of my life in the Midwest. Here is where my heart grows with the love and support of my family and friends and here is where I find inspiration for my stories.
I didn't grow up wanting to be an author but knew I needed to do something creative. After many years or moving from one job to the next and not finding happiness, I set pen to paper and began work on a Young Adult novel that will never see the light of day. And that's okay.
Finally, after a year or two of bringing life to the stories in my head, I got a break. My first published novella, Ice Princess, will be out April 2012 by Turquoise Morning Press.
Maggie Greene
Maggie Greene grew up in small town Wyoming. Fortunately, the characters she imagined had much more interesting and adventurous lives. Though she left many of them behind, some of her imaginary friends would continue to haunt her until she finally gave in and agreed to write their stories. Much to her surprise, they demanded romance. She couldn't very well say no.
When not writing, she can be found attempting to learn statistics or finish her dissertation. She is currently living her very own happily-ever-after in Pittsburgh, PA, with her charming husband and demanding cat.
Suzanne Lilly
Suzanne Lilly is a writer and an elementary school teacher. Her work has appeared in numerous places online and in print, and she has placed and received honorable mentions in online writing contests, as listed on the Writing Credits page. She has a Master’s Degree in Teaching and is a graduate of the Long Ridge Writer’s Group.
Suzanne Lilly writes light romance, young adult, and middle grade novels. Her debut novel, Shades of the Future will be published in 2012 by Turquoise Morning Press. She has finished several other novels. Gold Rush Girl is a historical YA set in 1849 in Coloma, California. House of Chimes, is a middle grade coming of age story. Blooming with Hope, is a sweet romance set in the Napa Valley. Jynx, You’re It is a science fiction time travel story written for middle grade readers. She’s currently working on a YA SciFi romance, Almost Immortal.
She is the Suite101 Topic Editor in the Fiction Writing and Curricula/Lesson Plans sections. She’s also known as the TeacherWriter and she blogs about teaching and writing.
When not busy writing, she enjoys swimming, knitting, reading, fine arts, and cooking. She lives in California with her family and has yet to feel an earthquake.
Julie Anne Lindsey
Born, raised and rooted in rural Ohio and loving it! I am a mother of three, wife to a sane person and Ring Master at the Lindsey Circus. Most days you'll find me online, amped up on caffeine & wielding a book.
My sweet romance novella Bloom will launch the Turquoise Morning Press’s new Honey Creek line in Jan 2012. I’ve contracted three novellas for my Seeds of Love series with TMP and will be planting those seeds throughout 2012. My humorous women’s fiction Death by Chocolate kicks off my Killer Confections Saga in March 2012!
