Last night was the second carnival night of the season, and people dressed up in this year's costumes. I was the fortune teller in the gypsy bangles and scarves, in case you didn't see my psychic booth just south of the hot dog stand.

Some of the best costume ideas of the night were:
Full out camouflage. You might be mistaken for a bunch of walking bunch of seaweed.

Athena the Greek goddess. I'm sure this is inspired by Clash of the Titans and the Percy Jackson series of books. Medusa would be another good costume.

Another choice is a Roman gladiator or a Greek warrior.

Let me know what you think.

Where is the picture of you in your bangles and scarves?
ReplyDeleteI'm going to be a redneck tourist as I trick or treat at Disney World next week! I'm a lucky ghoul! (Tee Hee)

Oh, you're so lucky! Disneyland and Disney World are so fun at Halloween. You'll be posting pics on your blog, right?
ReplyDeleteOkay, that full out camo is kinda creepy...that guy could fall off my porch into the bushes and we wouldn't find him for weeks!
ReplyDeleteI almost didn't recognize the kid wearing the camo and he's in my class. It was that good.
DeleteI leave the dressing up for the kids now. As a kid, however, I was always fascinated by Athena, so maybe I'll dress as her someday, when I do that sort of thing again.
ReplyDeleteAnd yeah, you need to post a pic of yourself in bangles and scarves!
Never. I'm camera averse. Even in costume and with mondo makeup. :-)
