Vacation Inspiration

Last week, I was on vacation in Michigan. Like Honey Creek, there was a lake but let's be honest. The lake is almost the size of OH!

But even with the differences, I can't help but imagine that being there is almost like being one of the many visitors to Honey Creek Lake each summer.

These very images are what I draw on when I'm writing a HC story. I recently finished the fourth and final book in my Honey Creek Royalties series, King of the Lake, due out next March. In it, I surround my main characters with the scenes of Honey Creek Lake in the summer. Full of tourists, sun and water. And like my MC, I found myself surrounded by the same things last week.
