Lol. Sometimes I dream of having the job of editor, to read books and get paid for it. But truth be told, I already have more books than I can ever read in a lifetime (unless I stopped working at 40 now, instead of 67), and I can't stand typo's in a book. Due to my job, I spot them all immediately, and too many mistakes really throw me out of the book. I have been known to pick up a red pen and start crossing out words/letters. And that is the finished product.
ReplyDeleteIt is also a reason I don't apply for ARC's very often, I just love the finished product with its shiny cover.
