Can someone please tell me what happened to Spring?
Around here, we seemed to have misplaced it. First, we skipped over the worst of winter (only 2 days of snow?!?!) and went straight to 80 degree days that felt like summer, and now that it is almost May, it is pouring rain and barely above freezing.
Mind you, this drastic change in weather is not simply an inconvenience. It is screwing up several things.
Like all the hard work I put in on my first ever garden.
And my attempts to see a meteor shower.

We're doing the heat wave thing. I almost opened up the pool to go swimming this weekend. It's crazy to have weather that hot this time of year in NorCal. Enjoy your rain before the heat settles in for good. BTW, I love the tulip picture.
ReplyDeleteWinter was wet, and with only one week of extreme cold and snow. Then we had a beautiful March week, and that soon became wet and too cold for the time of year. But the weatherman promises it is getting better. Which is important as Monday is a Feastday here, Queensday :) Koninginnedag. Is her mother's birthday, as her own is in January which is too cold for all the outdoor activities organized for this day.
